Miami, Florida

Hello, welcome to my sports blog. If you are into American Football and Basketball then this is the place for you. While I will cover Baseball, Track and Field, Soccer, Boxing, MMA and almost everything current in the global world of sports my readers may find me defaulting back to my first love, football.

So what makes me think that I can create a blog that would keep readers interested from season to season, shit for that matter from week to week. Well, for most of my adult life I’ve found that many of my friends are interested in my sometimes warped but always an interesting twist that I tend to put on the weird things, example, why are 78% of former NFL players broke or under financial stress 2 years after retirement. My answer, when EF Hutton spoke, the NFL punted. ‘pun’ intended.

My main focus will be on sports in around Miami-Dade County, Florida. As a product from the Miami School system, I know first hand the level of play on the gridiron, the basketball court, track, and field, on the ice, around the diamond and everything in between. We will discuss High School, Collegiate, and the Professional leagues, I also know that South Florida is a hotbed for Semi-Pro sports as well so we’ll be covering some of the happenings at that level as well.

It seems that there are 2 things that the majority of us humans can always small talk about and that is sports and the weather. It doesn’t matter whether you’re black, white, rich, poor, male or female everybody follows a team or is affected by the weather. My objectives are simple, present a platform that would generate conversation, with conversations comes understanding and when we understand each other amazing things began to happen.

So let’s get this conversation started….who’s the best Middle Linebacker of their time to play in the NFL? My pick…Jack Lambert of the Pittsburg Steelers 1974 – 1984.
